Show FUNERALS HELD THURSDAY FOR MMVICTIMS BYRON G. THOMAS Funeral services for Byron Gray Thomas, 46, of Lark, whose body was taken Monday from the U. S. Smelting Refining & Mining Co. lead mine at Lark, were conducted yesterday, July 20, at 11 a.m. in the Bingham high school auditorium, Copper-ton, Copper-ton, by Clyde Crump, bishop of Lark ward, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. A son of William G. and Clara Trevarthen Thomas, he was born March 4, 1904, in Great Falls, Mont. He came to Bingham when he was four years ola and lived there until moving to Lark 14 years ago. Mr. Thomas was well known as an athlete when he attended Bingham high school. He also was a member of the Lark volunteer vol-unteer fire department and a charter member of the Lark Lions club. He was an assistant master mechanic, having worked work-ed in the mine 14 years. He married Dora V. Brady of Union, January 7, 1925, in Bingham. Bing-ham. Besides his widow of Lark, he is survived by his parents, of Eingham, and three sons: Eugene B., Russell B. and William B. Thomas, all of Lark. Interment was in Sandy City cemetery under the direction of Bingham mortuary. HORACE M, SEAL Funeral services were conducted conduc-ted yesterday. July 20, at 2 p.m. in Riverton First LDS ward chapel cha-pel for Horace Martin Seal, 59, of Lark, whose body was found Monday in the U. S. Smelting Refining & Mining Co. lead mine at Lark. Bishop Clyde Crump of the Lark LDS ward officiated. Born April 1, 1891, in River-ton, River-ton, Utah, he was a son of Franklin Frank-lin E. and Mary Ellen Bills Seal. He spent his early life in River-ton River-ton and later moved to Herri-man. Herri-man. He married Emma Virginia Bodell, January 26, 1916, in the Salt Lake LDS temple. Prior to the marriage, Mr. Seal completed a mission to the southern states for the LDS church and Mrs. Seal had completed com-pleted a mission to the north central states. . Mr. and Mrs. Seal lived in Herriman until 1922 when they moved to Lark. Mr. Seal had been employed in the lead mine more than 20 years. Before becoming hoist-man hoist-man he was a pump operator. He had been a counselor in Lark LDS ward bishopric since coming to Lark, was president of the high priests' quorum in the Lark ward and was a genealogical genea-logical instructor in West Jordan Jor-dan stake. . . . , . Surviving him are nis wiaow, Lark; his mother, Riverton; five daughters and a son: Mrs. Le-land Le-land (Jessie) D. Nielsen; Mrs. Dallas (June) Draper; Mrs. Thomas Tho-mas (Mary Beth) WaUcer; and Miss Joy Seal, all of Lark; 1 Mrs. Harry (Beverly) Carson American Ameri-can Fork, and Horace Max Seal, Ogden; six grandchildren; four brothers and seven sisters: Mrs. Lottie Christensen, Denver: Mrs. Mabel Bowen and Mrs. Mary Beckstead, Riverton; Mrs. Chloe Mackay, Taylorsville; Mrs. Pearl Bodell Warwood and Mrs. AT vella Dawson, Salt Lake City, Mrs. Bernice Davies, Murray, Franklin E.
