Show JOHN E. ZWICKY, FORMER RESIDENT, DIES IN OGDEN Word has been- received here of the death of John Zwicky, who for many years was a promineni merchant mer-chant of Bingham. Concerning his demise, a dispatch from Ogden reads: John Edwin Zwicky, 52, died at his home here Saturday morning of a heart attack. He had spent Friday morkig working in his store in apparent ap-parent sound health. 'Born in Rock Springs, Wyo., Feb. 12, 1883, a son of Ralph and Frances Zwicky, be had been a retail merchant mer-chant in Utah for many years. Before Be-fore coming to Ogden five years ago, he was manager of tba Gibson Commercial company of Salt Lake, City, and had operated three stores' in Bingham Canyon. He married 'Hattie Kimball, May, 23, 1905, at Butte, Mont Surviving are his widow, two daughters, Frances and Betty, and a sister, Mrs. W. E. Stanton of Salt Lake City. He was a member of the First Presbyterian church. Funeral services were conducted Tuesday in the funeral chapel of the Linquist-Carlquist mortuary in Salt Lake City, and burial was in Mount Olivet cemetery. |
