Show September Wedding An afternoon ceremony Sunday, September 27, in the Holy Trinity Creek Orthodox Church, Salt Lake City, united Mis Wilms Savas and Cregory C. Roumpos in marriage. The Very Rev. Steven A. Katsaris officiated. Afterward, a dinner and wedding reception at the Prudential Federal Savings Bldg. honored the couple. The bride is a daughter of Mrs. Peter Savas. 16 Grove Ave. (1910 South) and the late Peter Savas. Mr. and Mrs. George Roumpos of Bingham Canyon are parents of the bridegroom. The bride wore a gown of deep luster satin styled with re-embrcid-ered lace at the sabrina neckline, long tapered sleeves and a bouffant skirt with a bustle back caught with satin roses above the chapel train. A tiara of pearls and iridescents held her veil and she carried pink bridal rosebuds on a white prayer book. Mrs. Peter Gamvroulas was matron ma-tron of honor and Mrs. Paul Roumpos Roum-pos and Miss JoAnn Pappasideris were other attendants. Nancy Mer-curit Mer-curit was flower girl. Their dresses of radiant pink had velveteen bodices bo-dices with low neckline and bouffant bouf-fant skirts of matching nylon-mist over taffeta. The wide cummerbunds ended in hem-length sashes in back. They wore velvet bandeaux with next face veils and carried white carnation in colonial bouquet. Willinm Mercuris, Huntington Park, Calif., was best man and ushers ush-ers were Paul Roumpos, Gus Ar-geres, Ar-geres, San Diego, Calif., and Mike Alfieris. George Saltas carried the rings and wedding crowns. The couple' wedding trip will take them through La Vegas en-route en-route to their home at Huntington Park. Out of state guests included George Geo-rge Argcres, San Diego; Dr. and Mrs. Chris T. Tasulis Jr., Inglewood, Calif., and Mr. and Mrs. Themis Ioanou, Pasadena, Calif. |
