Show Pm :T..t the bingham press bulletin here and will be presented to the scout? at their regular Acout meeting Tuesday evening in the Utah Copper Mine office at Copperfield. Parents and friends are invited to this meet- - Troop Swim last Tuesday evening. Through the courtesy of M r. J. B. Myers of the Utah Tower and Light transportation was provided. They were accompanied by Scoutmaster Sam Mitchell. All the boys voted it was a real treat to get an opportun-ity to learn. to swim. It is hoped that " we might ' have the swimming pool in the school at Bingham put into shape and this being accomplish-ed the long trip to .the city would be avoided. The Troop cards and badges are ens has - been indisposed and unable to meet her clasJ during the week. We are hoping that she will soon be well and able to attend her various duties. . " A fine group of the Epworth league young people went to Salt Lake City to attend the spring institute. ' This is a forerunner of the summer insti-tute held in Middle Canyon. This year the dates are June 22-2- The institute this year ought to surpass any that has been held hitherto. Next Sunday the pastor will speak on "A Normal Christian Experience" at 11 a.m. and will speak in the eve-ning at 7:45 p.m. on "The Unbalanc-ed Life." You ought to attend the services of the day. Make an effort to be there. ' METHODJSTNOTES We are now on the eve of the spec-ial campaign which is the rule in all the charges of the Utah mission. Rev. Royden D. Zook, pastor of our Meth-odist church at Tooele, will assist the pastor in the work. The Public meetings will not begin until Sunday, March 22nd. We will have Bro. Zook's presence here for the Wednesday night devotional meeting. We ask for your hearty support and sustained interest when the meetings begin, March 22nd. If you have church letters laid away either here or yonder, we will be specially interested in helping you get them and receiving you into the Methodist church. In Utah we have the comity ar-rangement. - All Protestant churches are agreed to save themselves and others, too much duplicity in church work. Hence the various territories are allotted to the different denom-inations. The Methodist church is here, the Baptist church is in Magna, the Episcopal church is at Garfield, the Presbyterians are at Spanish Fork while the Congregational art located in the city of Provo. If you believe the Methodist church should have a stronger organization then act at one and have your church letters transferred. Bro. Zook and the Pas-tor will spen dthe major part of the week in home visitation, and invite your hearty cooperation. The pastor still reports sickness among his constituents. Miss Stev- - man Dick Bryant. , . The boys gave the Salute to the Flag repeating the ' pledge. The badges were then presented by Atkin," who spoke to the boys on "What it means to be a Scout." Dick Bryant as Commit-teeman for the Troop- congratulated the - boys on their achievement ' and gave the boys helpful advice. During the evening the boys elect-ed Dick Bryant to be the assistant scoutmaster. After the program and the boys had repeated the Scout oath, refreshments were served consisting of ice cream and cookies. The troop are planning to increase their enrollment until we shall have a full troop. Already names are un-der consideration that will bring tlie number to thirty. If you would like to join Troop 3 and live in that vicin-ity, get in touch with some of the boys in the Troop or the Scout lead-ers, Mr. Sam Mitchell or Mr. R. Bry-ant.
