GROVES SERVICES SET FOR TODAY AT MIDVALE Funeral services for Lynn Lang-ford Lang-ford Groves, 61, of 401 State Highway, High-way, Copperton, Bingham Canyon, will be held Friday (today) at 1:00 p.m. at 8090 South State Street, Midvale. Friends may call at the place of services prior to services. Mr. Groves died Tuesday morning, morn-ing, June 12, at 5 a.m. at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Ronald W. Sa-ger, Sa-ger, 428 E. Wasatch, Midvale. He was born August 8, 1900, in South Jordan, a son of William G. and Ellen Ostler Groves. He married mar-ried Vera Sybrowsky and later divorced. di-vorced. He had been employed at Kennecott Corp., Utah Copper Division, Di-vision, as precipitation plant foreman fore-man for 40 years. He was a native of South Jordan. Surviving him are the following daughters and sons, Mrs. Fertel H. (Cleo) Riley, Burlington, Wyo.; Mrs. Ronald W. (Audrey) Sager, and Mrs. D. Theron (Lois) Hickman, Hick-man, both of Midvale;. Lynn Groves, Copperton, and Rex Groves, Lark; 1 I grandchildren; brother and sisters, sis-ters, George Groves and Mrs. Alice Draper, both Murray; Mrs. Rena Thieret, Salt Lake City, end Mrs. Daphne Di Costanzo, Chicago, 111. The family suggests in lieu of flowers friends make contributions to the American Cancer Society, Salt Lake City. Interment will be in South Jordan Jor-dan Cemetery. SERVICES FOR ALBERT ESAK HELD THURSDAY Requiem Mass Tor Albert Esak, 79, of 501 Main St., Bingham Canyon, Can-yon, who died Saturday, June 9, at 6:28 a.m. in a Salt Lake hospital of natural causes, was celebrated Thursday at 9 a.m. at the Cathedral of the Madeleine, Salt Lake City. Mr. Esak was born Dec. 20, 1882 in Germany. He was a retired metal me-tal miner and a member of the Catholic Church. He was unmarried and has no known survivors. Burial was in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Ceme-tery, Salt Lake City. |
