Show WEST JORDAN LIONS AND LADIES INSTALL OFFICERS New officers of West Jordan Lions and Lady Lions, who will perve their respective organizations during the 1962-63 club year, were installed into office at a joint installation in-stallation banquet held at Log Haven Ha-ven in Millcrerk Canyon, Monday evening, June II. Roer Peterson, zone chairman Lions District 28-T installed the Lions officers and Mrs. Peterson conducted the ladies installation. in-stallation. Those taking office were: Lions president, Richard II. Higham; firsl vice president, Lloyd Nerdin: second sec-ond vice president, M. W. Kidder; third vice president, Kenneth Cook; secretary and treasurer, Clarence Walters; Lion tamer, Roy Ober-shaw; Ober-shaw; and Gene Rose, Lawrence Hunt, Clifford Justesen and Edward Kidder, directors. Lady Lions president, Mrs. Margaret Justesen; first vice president, presi-dent, Mrs. Joyce Johnson; second vice president, Mrs. Clara Hogan; third vice president, Mrs. Trudy Logan; secretary and treasurer, Mrs Norma Miller; sunshine lady, Mrs. Dorothy Kidder; parliamentarian and chaplain, Mrs. Nell Williams; historian, Mrs. Cleo Addy; and directors, di-rectors, Mrs. Margaret Cole and Mrs. Fae Higham. During the program, Mr. Higham, Hig-ham, newly installed Lions president, presi-dent, was presented the "master key" award by Lion officials of District 28-T for outstanding community com-munity service, recruiting members and promoting activities of the club. Mr. Peterson, zone chairman, made the presentation. A trophy, plaque and certificate were presented pre-sented Mr. Higham. Also two vocal selections were presented by Mr. and Mrs. Jay Steadman. - Forty-nine members and guests attended the affair. |
