Show FUNERAL FOR LARK MINER SLATED TODAY Requiem mass will be celebrated today, Friday, at 10 a.m. in St. Paschal's Church in Lark for Silver Sil-ver io Rivera Hernandez, 48, who was found dead at the Lark mine of the U. S. Smelting Refining and Mining Co. Monday. Rosary was recited last night (Thursday) at 8 p.m. at 8090 So. State Street, Midvale. Company officials said Mr. Hernandez Her-nandez was found dead on the floor of the mine shaft. He had been working alone and speculation was that he either fell or suffered a heart attack between I I a.m. and noon. Investigates said Tuesday that only an autopsy would disclose exact ex-act cause of the death. It will not be classified as an industrial accident acci-dent until this is determined they explained. Mr. Hernandez was born June 20, "1911, in Malacove, Tex., the son of Trankilino and Apolonia Rivera Hernandez. He married Marie Palomino July 5, 1939, in Chapel, Neb. He was a member of the Catholic Church and wu employed em-ployed as a miner by the U. S. Smelting Refining and Mining Co. Besides his wvidow he is survived by one granddaughter; two brothers, broth-ers, John Hernandez, Big Springs, Neb. and Martin Hernandez, Brule, Neb., and one sister, Mrs. Antonio Alvarado, Denver, Colo. Interment will be in West Jordan Cemetery. A |
