Show I HERBERT GUST SERVICES HELD LAST FRIDAY Many fritnds gathered last Friday Fri-day afternoon, July 8, to pay tribute trib-ute to the memory of Herbert R. Gust, at services held at St. Paul's Community Methodist Church, in Copperton. Rev. Ada Duhigg and Rev. M. Robert Turner officiated. Mr. Gust, 70, longtime resident of Bingham and Copperton, and former past state president of the Fraternal Order of Eagles and a past president of Bingham-Midvale Aerie No. 659, the latter of which he also had served as secretary for 21 years, passed away July 5 in a Salt Lake hospital after a lingering illness. Services included: invocation and prayer, vocal solo "God's Tomorrow" Tomor-row" by Mrs. Barbara Teriman accompanied ac-companied by Margaret Bailey, Old Testament readings. New Testament Testa-ment readings, vocal solo "Beyond the Sunset", sermon, prayer, vocal solo "The Lord's Prayer," and benediction. Prelude and postlude music was played by Margaret Butler. Pallbearers were Dallas Anderson, Ander-son, John J. Creedon, Kenneth Foster, Jack Whiteley, A. L. Nelson and Ken Shulsen. . Interment was in Midvale City Cemetery. Graveside committal was Fraternal Order of Eagles ritual. |
