Show IRVINSORENSON DIESJJESDAY Irvin Sorenson, 53, 133 iMain St., Bingham, passed away Tuesday Tues-day at 6:05 p.m. in a Salt Lake hospital of pneumonia. A son' of Soren and Mary Ann Gough Sorenson, he was born March 7, 1899, in Lehi, Utah county. He received his education educa-tion in Lehi schools and lived in Lehi until he was a young man when he spent three years in Yakima, Wash. After' returning to Lehi for a short time, he moved to Milford, Beaver county, where he leased the Horn Silver Mine. In 1923 he moved to Bingham where he was a machinist for Utah Copper Division, Di-vision, Kennecott Copper Corp. He was married to Golda Beck June 27, 1923, in the Salt Lake LDS temple. Mr. Sorenson had been an elder in Bingham LDS Ward. ' 'Surviving are his widow, Bingham; two daughters, Mrs. Mike (Jeanne) Churich, Midvale, and Mrs. (Milford (Mary) Mabey, Murray; a son, Irvin Jay Sorenson, Soren-son, with the U. S. Navy at Guam; three grandchildren; two sisters and two brothers, (Mrs. Charles Edwards and Ellis Sorenson, Sor-enson, both of Lehi; Mrs. Lynn Bone and Wallace Sorenson, both of Salt Lake City. Funeral arrangements will be announced from 4760 South State street. : o |
