Show SERVICES HELD FOR CRASH VICTIM Funeral services for Leland Warning, 20, were held in the Copperton grade ichool Monday afternoon with Bishop George-Nix George-Nix officiating. Speakers besides Bishop Nix were Dr. Paul S. Richards, Charles Stevens and Alfred C. Stevens, both of Og-den. Og-den. Blaine Wells, accompanied by Mrs P. O. Loveless, sang "Lead Thou My Soul". Copperton Singing Sing-ing Mothers sang two selections. "I Know That My Redeemer Lives" and "In The Time of Roses," with accompaniment of Mrs. W. T. Rogers. Pallbearers were Lee Todd, Boyd Reynolds, Kenneth Rice, Bert Allen, Robert Burke Jr. and F. Burke. Mr. Warning died as result of an auto accident Friday afternoon after-noon near Lark. November Novem-ber 23, 1935, and Mrs. Edith Warning, Injured fatally In a car wreck in Salt Lake City December Decem-ber 18, 1934. Leland Warning was born January 24, 1918, In Bingham. Until recently he was employed by the Utah Copper company. Surviving are his grandmother, Mrs. Addie Butler, an aunt, M'rs. Louis DeCol, both of Copperton, , and another aunt, Mrs. E. M. Jarvis of Ogden. The accident in which Mr. Warning was fatally injured occurred oc-curred as he and his companions, Homer Larsen, 18, of 2801 9th East street, and Glen Ivie, 23, of Copperfield, were leaving Lark enroute to Bingham. A front tire of the machine, driven by Larsen, blew out. The car careened from the road Into a utility pole, throwing thro-wing occupants from the wreckage. wreck-age. Glen Ivie, son of Mr .and Mrs. Alton Ilvie, suffered multiple rib fractures, punctured lung, fractured left shoulder, lacera tlons and contusions. His condition condi-tion Is reported Improving. Larsen Lar-sen is reported recovering from compound fractures of the right arm and thigh, cuts and bruises. |
