Show JUNIOR CHAMBER OFFICERS NAMED TO YEAR'S TERM Unit Projects Studied For Consideration, To Be Selected Soon Complete organization of what promises to become a dominant force among community groups was effected during the past week. With selection of leader for a local unit of the Junior chamber of commerce, a national organization, an Important step has been taken in establishing it as a permanent addition to civic welfare groups. Serving as officers will be: Vern Faddls. chairman of the board of directors; Elliott W. Evans, president; William Grant, vice president; Joss Southwell, secretary; Orl Wilson, treasurer. On the board of directors are: William Spcrry. Winn Raby. and GroiRe Knudsen. two year directors; direc-tors; Edward Grant. Dr. B. D. Beiinlon and Willurd Nichols, one year directors. At the meeting Friday adoption of a constitution and by laws was completed after a report was made by Elliott Evans, chairman of that committee, explaining the one which had been tentatively, drawn. Application for charter membership mem-bership may be made until June 21, date of the next meeting. The third Monday of the month was chosen as the regular meeting date. S. J. Granquist, Delbert Barrett and Eddie Grant were named a committee to arrange luncheon meeting. To Select Project One project being considered by the chamber is the sponsorship sponsor-ship of a drive to raise $160 to match a turn made accessible to the community by the Jordan school district for a community band. If the report that the chamber cham-ber unit is to decide on this project pro-ject is authentic the community will find itself in a position to back one of the finest band programs pro-grams in the state. Joel P. Jen-Ben, Jen-Ben, school instructor, s available avail-able as director and it has been reported that he would be willing will-ing to instruct several groups, divided by age and experience.
