Show H. 8. STUDENTS SHOULD FINISH THEIR COURSES We wish- to Impress upon high school students that it is decidedly to their advantage to complete their, high school course before attempting any work at the A, C, if they nave any intention of completing one of then regular re-gular degree courses. - If the opportunity presents itself, we wish that you would help us to emphasize em-phasize the fact that the courses offered of-fered by the Utah' Agricultural College to students who have not sufficient high sctiool credits to enter the regular regu-lar college courses, are strictly vocational voca-tional in their scope and character, and are intended for those who can spend ' only a short time in school. They are for those students who cannot can-not pass through or who do not wish, on account of age and the necessity of quickly taking up their life's work, to pass through the complete work of high school and college. These Voca-, tional courses are not intended as a substitute for high school work, and can be used as such only to a very limited li-mited extent.' A mere accumulation of vocational courses will not secure admission ad-mission to the regular college work, consequently students who are seeking seek-ing high school credits should obtain them in the high school. In order to avoid any abuse of our vocational courses, we are insisting that vocational students' register strict-ly within the vocational courses offered. Election of othre than vocational voca-tional courses will be permitted only when a valid reason exists and It is obvious that the choice would be to the advantage of the student in his chosen vocation.
