Show The boys had a wonderful time. Mr. and Mrs. Everett Cow dell and family are spending the week fishing. Mrs. Mary Goff Nielsen, 64, of Riverton, passed away Saturday evening, June 16 at her home of a heart ailment. She was a sister of Harvey Golf. Funeral services were held yesterday, Thursday, at 2 p.m. in the South Jordan Ward chapel. Interment was in South Jordan cemetery. Copperton LDS Ward A special program will be presented pre-sented at sacrament mct-ting this Sunday night, June 24th at 6:30 pin. at Copperton Ward. The Seventh Quorum of Elders will present the Rose Crest Male Chorus composed of 14 accomplished accom-plished voices. Program to consist con-sist of five chorus nuiribers, one solo and two guest speakers. A real spiritual feast. Everyone welcome to attend. The birthday club enjoyed dinner din-ner and dancing at the House of Mark Saturday evening. The occasion oc-casion celebrated Mrs. John Brown's birthday anniversary. Attending were Mr. and Mrs. A. D. Christensen, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Johnson, Mr. and Mrs. T. J. Hurley, Mr. and Mrs. Eskel Johnson, Mr. Brown and Mr. and Mrs. Ned Jones. Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Johnson and family visited in Salt Lake City Wednesday evening with Mr. and and Mrs. Harold Gee and Mr. and Mrs. V. Bywater. Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Long and daughters visited on Father's day Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Albert Pollock and Mr. and Mrs. Glen Long. Mr. and Mrs. Carl Nichols of Bingham visited with Mr. and Mrs. Hyman Smernoff Monday evening. Enjoying a fishing trip Tuesday Tues-day were Mr. Smernoff and Mr. Nichols. A swimming party was enjoyed enjoy-ed at Municipal pool Tuesday evening by Johnny Johnson, Kent Simkins, Reeves Dahlstrom, Lynn Stoker, Bobby and Richard Rauer, Dennis Scroggin and Michael Mi-chael Swain. Transportation was provided by Bob Davis and Martin Mar-tin Jensen. A group of boys from the Aar-onk Aar-onk Priesthood of the Copper-ton Copper-ton Ward enjoyed an overnight trip to Levari Friday evening. |
