I : H1 ANMOUMCING I The Opening of The (CAKTYdDN LUMCH In Its New Place of Business At 498 Main Street I Toiay Mday S v. d I F TO THE VOTERS OF BINGHAM CANYON :; The highlights of the past two years of a business and economic 'i administration of Town affairs are as follows: I A 20 per cent reduction in taxable valuations was allowed without protest in 1936, and a decrease in the tax levy for 1937, a direct saving ! to the Taxpayer. ' I Payment of $18,000.00 on Bonded and Floating Indebtness. ' u Payment of $7,200.00 in interest on Old Obligations. 1 The first surplus In the General Fund for many years; $1,959.81 in !j 1936 and near that figure for 1937. , . " ' An increase of $35,000 in Capital Surplus, in Capital and Bond Fund. ,i A $90,000 Sewer System was completed at a cost to the Town of j . $8,000.00 of which $2,000.00 has been paid. "' A $30,000 Water Tunnel project completed, the cost of which was paid from current revenue. Replacement of Wooden Stave pipe line by cast iron, on the B. & G. road, the cost of which was paid from! current revenue. Extension and ' repairs to the oiled paved streets. Numerous widening projects completed. Renovations and repairs to Public Buildings, increasing the assets of the 'I Town.'- . - - , New Fire Equipment and accessories, facilitating better protection. i Street lighting has been increased, and improved. This record is a ! great achievement, and a future policy to put the town on a cash basis is desired, and to that end we will put our efforts. j We are not bound or pledged to sustain any of the appointive officers, since their acts reflect against the Administration.
