A tules Farley ana M M Red Sox Super Sluggers Ball Busters ,Won by forfeit Probably the biggest thrill of my career was playing in the majors. Playing in the majors. A dream for so many young ball players, and for Mark Budaska the 26 year old outfielder of the Ogden As, it was a dream come true. Mark was born in Sharon Penn, and at age 5, his parents moved to the 'San Fernando Valley in California. He started his baseball career playing little league, pony league and was a star outfielder at Granada high. Mark signed with Oakland out of Pierce Jr. College in 1972. The key to success is a right mental atitude. You have to stay on top of the game. You have to realize and understand your abilities and limitations. This kind of attitude will make you a consistant player. Currently batting a .338 average, with 2 home runs, Mark has been very consistant. Its the ability to go out day after day, game after game, to get on base, get the key hit that has made him a solid asset to the club. Mark has a Real Estate license, which he has not used. He also has a partner who runs a small gold and jewelry business in Calif. When I retire from baseball, I want to have my own business, be my own boss.
