Show Page 4 June 18, 1980 Ben Lomond Beacon Weber County Jr. Posse Queen selected By Wally Carr Ragon Brown of Farr West has been chosen to reign as the 1980 Weber County Junior Posse Queen. Judging at the Harrisville fairgrounds began Saturday at 5 p.m. as dark clouds, winds and thundershowers threatened havoc, but the skies cleared and the 14 area queens and their attendants competed for favor with the judges in the categories of congeniality, photogenic, personality, appearance and horsemanship. 14-1- - Congeniality won the North Ogden Junior Posse Queen Contest. No. Ogden Princess Tracie Fawcett, daughter Miconi, Second 14th. The next important posse event will be the annual Cherry Days Celebration held July 4th. The festivities begin with the Cherry Days parade at 10 a.m. at which time the posse will represent North Ogden and compete for a parade trophy against Farr other posses from West, Uintah, and Pleasant gymkana horsemanship trophies in their respective divisions.
