Coaches for the two teams are determined by the position of the clubs in their conferences two weeks before the date of the game. The Eastern and Western Conference coaches whose teams have the best fconference records are selected. Hie nominees for the game ballot are selected by their respective clubs, with each club nominating four players. The only current Jazz play to play in games is Pistol previous Pete Maravich. He has been selected a total of five times, missing only one due to an injury. Pete was first selected in 1973, while playing with Atlanta. He scored a total of 8 points. In 1974, still with Atlanta, Pete came All-St- ar All-St- ar through with a 15 point total. Back again in 1977, this time representing New Orleans, he scored 10 points. Over 40 youth in and around the Clearfield area were drawn last Wednesday evening to the high school. They competed in different age brackets with the winners advancing to county competition. Konizad Wilford was second with 59 points. Shelly Leake placed first in the age group and Theresa girls Day was second. No one participated in the girl 5 age group. Colleen Mewing gathered 76 points in the girls 8 division to run away with first place.
