The States death rate is bplow the national average, a Utah Department of Social Services Division of Health study shows. to John According Brockert, director of the Bureau of Health Statistics, in 1975, Utahs population was 1.203,000. There were 31,677 births for a birth rate of population. The national is average population. The death rate, on the other one-thir- d 26.3-1,00- 0 14.8-1,00- 0 hand, was 6.2 deaths-1,00population compared to deaths-1,00- 9 population 0 nationally. Many factors, Mr. Brockert said, must be taken into consideration in analyzing these rates. Because family life and children are emphasized, it is no surprise the birth rate is high. Contributing to the low death rate is the fact that a large proportion of the population does not drink alcohol or smoke. It is not impossible, it only takes an understanding of the basic involved and principles persistence. Never mind the fact that now your kids will not eat anything not featured on McDonalds menu, this can all be changed. Why, when I cooking. Contrary to popular opinion, very few children have actually starved to death by abstaining during the hour and a half proceeding a meal. (5) Set a Good example. This is actually the primary principal of teaching children anything. Try to arrange it so there are at least four other people snarfing down the goodies while saying, This is superbly you to miss out on the joys of basic laws. (1) Never force a child to eat. When he scorns the masterpiece you have slaved all afternoon to create when you could have been napping, smile gaily and reply, Good! Thats all the more for the rest of us. (2) Serve food attractively. Entice their palates with beautiful, colorful entrees artistically arranged and garnished. If that doesnt work, blenderize everything. What they cant see wont hurt them. (3) Let them help cook. No one ever spurned his own creation. It is well worth the little bit of extra effort of scrubbing batter off your walls, floor and ceilings to teach them appreciation.
