The shop has been open at that location for two months, but has previously been open in California. The shop sells handcrafted items and plants and they take items in on consignment. They are also an agency for Calculator Service and Sales out of Salt Lake City. Some of the items they have on display include macrame, dried flower arrangements, pot holders, dolls and items made as wood as well as jewelry and oil paintings. According to Mrs. Pat Epps, at the head of the family enterprise, they would like to sell the items at an affordable price, on a low budget basis so everyone can afford to give handcrafted items as gifts. Right now they are looking to take in more items on consignment. Mrs. Epps said there are many people with talents in making handcrafted items and she said they would like to give them the opportunity to display and sell their works. Mrs. Epps said they would like to expand their business and possibly even open a shop in Salt Lake City. Also, they have begun a wedding consultation service at Creations by Pat, because Mrs. Epps said she has found a need for such a service among couples not getting married in a church ceremony. She said they would arrange for the flowers and the cake and then deliver them to the wedding party rather than having someone from the wedding party pick them up. She said part of the consultation service would include the etiquette involved with a wedding. Hours at the new shop are 9 a.m.-- 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday. said Revolutionary period, it i, I...
