Page 7 Wildcat track meat set The annual Weber State College Wildcat Invitational Track and Field Meet will be held on Saturday March 31 from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. in WSC Stadium. A in- half-a-doz- termountain area schools have been invited to compete in this meet which will be only one of two home track and field meets for the Wildcats all season. Trial events will be held in the morning, while finals will be staged in the afternoon. Several local athletes will be MARY ANN WIDENHOUSE, who directed competing for WSC in this meet. Jeff Swanger, a former Bonneville High Track Star is expected to be a strong contender for the individual title in the javelin throw, Only a junior, Swanger has a best throw in that event of 216-He will also be a participant in the long jump and high jump for the Wildcats. Swanger is best at the decathlon, a test of an athletes versatility, and he can place in just about any event. Doug Friedli, a product from Roy High will be a top entry for Weber in the mile run.
