This is the 24th nnual Thanksgiving lay program, and will be held at the North Ogden Stake Center at 626 E. &600 N. native of Sandy. Utah , Dr. 'Hradv has a bachelor of science in A November 21 , 1979 J , College president featured speaker p. is accounting and master of business administration degrees from the University of Utah. H received his Doctor of Administration from Harvard University. During the early 1970's, Dr. Brady served in Washington D.C. as a member of the subcabinet to the president, and as assistant secretary of the U.S. Department of Health, Hughes Tool Co. in Los Angeles. Bren! Kirby, president of W'eber High Key Club, will lead the pledge to the flag. Sue Anne Christensen will play the prelude and postlude. Special music will be furnished by Weber College. All community members are invited to participate, in this program, which will last about an hour. Mel Woods of the North Ogden Kiwanis Club is chairman of the event. President of the group is Robert E. Christofferson. In charge of programs is John Dunwoody. with Ken Graser responsible for presentation of gifts. New ceramic shop opens in Ogden Two North Ogden w'omen who used to spend their spare hours experimenting with ceramics are the newest members of Ogdens retail business community. Joyce Andersen and JoAnne Castelli this week opened tu Klowns at 2566 Washington. The store will feature ceramics and handcrafted gifts which the two businesswomen make in a workshop in the rear of the building. tu Klowns Hours of will be Mondays through Saturdays from 10 a m. to 6 pin. Parking is available in the Orpheum Parking lot off Ogden Avenue. The two will be involved in the wholesale distribution ol the ceramics and craft giftware as well as a retail operation. They also will sell ceramic supplies and allow hobbyists to use their workshop without charge. Scout receives Eagle award Todd Whiteley, son of Mr. and Mrs. Calvin Whiteley, 3120 N. 250 E., North 'Ogden, has been awarded one of the highest honors in scouting, the rank of Eagle Scout. patrol leader, patrol leader and den chief. The scout attends North Ogden Junior High School and has played football, baseball and basketball for the cities of North Ogden and Pleasant View. He is also a member ol the Pleasant View Ridge Riders Posse. |
