This is an educational program targeting beef cattle managers who want to increase their understanding of advanced topics in beef cattle production. When a producer decides to participate, they will be making a commitment to attend a series of programs on beef production and management. Everyone who comes and participates in the program will receive a free copy of the Management Guide, ($100.00 value). We plan to meet 3 times this winter. In this meeting Dr. Dillion Fiets, USU Extension Economist will discuss marketing and will help producers create their own livestock budgets. This will really help producers deal with high feed costs. Derral was born to Walter and Zola Wright in Delta, Utah where he lived most of his life. He served proudly in the Army and then the Navy during the Korean conflict. After serving his tour of duty, he decided to move around and ieam many different jobs. But his love was working outdoors. So in 1971 he moved his family to the Minersville Reservoir, there he remained until his retirement. He and his family worked side by side getting the reservoir to where it is today, with the trees and buildings. Now he lives in Beaver with his wife Shirley, who also celebrates her birthday on the same day. They have four daughters Vickie (Howard) Allred of Delta, Shirlene (Kevin) Willden of Beaver, JoAnn (Kenneth) Baker of Payson, and Lisa (Jerry) Roberts of Beaver. He has 15 grandchildren, 10 almost 11 great grandchildren. We love you Dad and wish you a very Happy Birthday. - Congratulations Annual would like to give a big congrats to Connie,.
