Two of our sisters lla Smith and . Joan Ruplinger hosted our and February decided to share a little love with the wonderful residents and staff at Long Term Care. A week prior, we acted like wiggly, beaming school children cutting, pasting red and pink doilies, construction paper & candy heart stickers together to create what we thought were fabulous valentines,. ..But would the residents like them ....hmmm? We sung a few songs, in celebration of the day coming. On the 14th, all dressed up and ready to roll, we showed up with songs, valentines, and cookies. We thought that the sisters (residents) were cheerful adorning borrowed red hats and the brothers (residents) in red ball caps. We read the music and sang the songs that our loving Queen provided for us. Songs such as "May you always.", "I love you truly", and ended with "Home on the Range". Janet Smith played the piano so beautifully. believe that those cookies from Mike's were the prettiest have seen. Thank you. Long Term Care for allowing us to give our hearts to you on this past St. Valentine's day. After we sang, we enjoyed a wonderful brunch at The Garden of Eaten. Now, we were all surprised to a beautiful bouquet of red roses in a beautiful red vase. We pondered in gratitude of our secret admirer, never guessing who had sent them. To our admirer, a big Red Hat Hug for those er I I posies. Now, ahead is " St. Patricks' Day on the 1 7th of March and we wish all of you leprechauns a lot of good wishes and iuck.
