A few of her favorite that she many projects were Book of Mormon with study and prayer the projects reading to gain a testimony, helping mentor a student in the elementary school, and making quilts for the Humanitarian Aid. Karisa is a Senior at Beaver High School, she loves school and especially seminary. Karisa is serving as her Laurel's class president. She has been active in Forensics winning many awards in Oratory. She loves Soccer and was excited to play her last year as of Beaver High's first sanctioned soccer team. Karisa in soccer. She currently is Beaver was awarded Academic City's Youth Mayor. Karisa attended Girl State where she was elected Lee City Mayor and also won the Sam Sung Scholarship, awarded to one girl in Utah per year. She was one of 48 from the state of Utah selected to attend Governors Honors Academy at SUU last summer, this was a great leadership opportunity that she will always cherish.
