The lesson was on the 4-- H Region Forum Daniel Frandsen, Aubry I our Reynolds, and just spent Jan. weekend from Thursday through' Monday 11th v the 15th at the 2007 Western Region Forum in Phoenix, Arizona. There weFe youth and leaders from 13 states, Samoa, Guam and Canada there to participate. We were picked up in Beaver on Thursday and traveled with a group from Weber down to Phoenix. For the next three days we went to workshops of our choice. There were a lot of great workshops and a big variety to choose from. They went from service, cooking, and leadership to fishing, fitness, shooting sports and much more. Daniel presented a workshop called Health Rocks! Aubry and helped Clint present a workshop on teen leadership. She was born on November 21, 1933 in Beaver, Utah to Karl Monroe & Jessie Carlow Ward. She mar- ried Delvin Smith March 13, 1959 in Beaver, Utah and they were later divorced. Shirley attended high school at Beaver High School and graduated in 1952. She was a volunteer at the Beaver Valley Hospital and Beaver Hospice. She was a member of the American Legion Coalition Against Auxiliary, Domestic Violence, Volunteer for Five County Retired and Senior Volunteer Program. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-da- y Saints and served in many capacities in the Church. She loved bingo and was active with the Senior Citizens. She is survived by her children, Gregory Thomas (Sherry) Smith of Beaver, Debra (Albert) Montoya of Las Vegas, NV., Milton Delvin (Linette) Smith of Beaver, and Dale Allen (Pam) Smith of Cedar City. She has 12 grandchildren and 3 great Two brothers grandchildren. William T. (Kathie) Ward of Beaver and Karl Eugene (Sue) Ward of Salt Lake City. And one sister Coleen Norris of Draper. She was preceded in death by a daughter Donna lleen Hill,' her parents and a brother David I had by all.
