You can compete in one or all four. The winner in each age group can advance on to the regional. There will be 4 different dates for each skill. Vance and Connie were married December 27, 1946 in Parowan, Utah. They will celebrate January 27, 2007 in Minersville, UT with their family and close friends. A lot of visiting, joy and laughter have been shared among the Marshall family and their friends, and over a light lunch at their Anniversary party more memories are sure to be added! We love you so much and wish you as much happiness as you have given all of us throughout the ' years! . v-? , .7 ; 5 P) Oi; ' 4 V 7 Tfi' L 8th Grade Lincoln Douglas Debate Tournament by April Kanell During the week of the 8th Grade Lincoln January Tournament Debate took Douglas place. It was an extremely intense competition that required all of the students to have courage, wit, and the ability to think fast on their feet. As the tournament progressed, eliminations were made each day extracting two people. The final day came down to a final six: Bailee Black, Bo Fotheringham, Shiloh White, Zac Flinders, Sashi Patel, and Rebecca April Kanell. The final round had finally come to an end, and Mrs. Eyre announced the winners. "We have a tie for 4th place, between Zac Flinders and Bailee Black, 3rd goes to Sashi Patel, 2nd to Shiloh White, and 1st place, the Champion of the 8th grade Lincoln Douglas Debate Tournament goes to Rebecca Kanell." Bo Fotheringham, along with all the other five finalists received plaques stating their place and name. Thanks goes out to all of the wonderful varsity debaters who came and judged our tournament: Chang, Katie Macdonald, Sam Spounias, Alicia Smith, Karissa Hofheins, Wade Melling, Marisha Farnsworth, Tawnya Yardley, Tylene Nichols, Quinton Smith, Courtney Rogers, and of course Mrs. Eyre. We would not have been able to have had this tournament without you.
