Johnnie Lynn Fields, Salt Lake City, Utah, was charged with Criminal Trespass. Donna Gonzales, Beaver, Utah, was arrested on a warrant. Connie Huddieston, Milford, Utah, was arrested on a warrant. Douglas Dale Jones, Castle Rock, Colorado, was charged with Criminal Nonsupport. Britee Milford, Utah, Merryweather, was charged with Probation Violation Violation of Court Order. fnd Marie Pierce, Beaver, Utah, was arrested on a warrant. She will represent the state of Utah and is me beaver High bchool Homecoming Queen. Utah's Homecoming Queen will receive a cash scholarship plus an all expense paid trip to compete with queens from the other states for the title of America's Homecoming Queen to be s elected July 1 2th at the Anaheim Marriott in Anaheim, California. Rodeo Royalty The Rodeo Queen Contest was held June 10, 2004. Galen Alread of Parowan and Sage Alread of St. George did an excellent job on judging. In the largest graduation ceremony to date, the Beaver County Adult Education Program awarded 53 High School Diploma's under the direction of Mr. Tracy Davis, who heads the Programs in the county wide area and Mr. Gary Brown representing the County School Board. Draper, Jail Commander, made the opening remarks at the June graduation, reminding the new Diploma holders that their graduation certificate may be only a piece of paper, but it can also be a key to open doors of opportunity in the future, depending on the determination of the holder. UHP Troopers on the Lookout During Friday, July. 2 thru Sunday, July 4 Weekend Section 14 Beaver County Troopers of the Utah Highway Patrol will be out in force this long 4th of July Holiday weekend. The Utah Highway Patrol is in participating Operation (Combined Accident Reduction Effort). It is a cooperative effort involving State Troopers from all 50 states and the Canadian Royal Mounted Police. This association began in 1977, and the UHP has been a actively participating member since 1978. It is ' coordinated national effort, designed to reduce the number of serious and fatal crashes that too often occur during major holiday weekends. The UHP generally sees a rise in alcohol and drug related crashes during the holidays. "These are also the weekends when many more families travel on bur state highways, and the Interstate stated System" CARE, Colonel Scott T. Duncan, Superintendent of the Utah Highway Patrol.
