Minutes of the Beaver City Council The Beaver City Council in regular session on July at 4:00 p.m. with the 2003 15, members present: following L. Bradshaw, Wade Mayor Council Members: Mike Dalton, Les Williams, Kari Draper, Shane Erickson, and Ron Bird. Also present: Hal Lessing, Beaver City Recorder, Steve Atkin Beaver City Manager and met Youth Mayor Mike Noel. Council MINUTE APPROVAL: Member E;r ed. Council Member Daltcn 2nd, the Beaver City Council approve the minutes of July 1, 2003 Regular Council meeting as read and written. All voted in favor of the motion. It was me BILL APPROVAL: consensus of the City Council the bills be approved for pay! ; ment. LUCILLE STRONG: Complaint on trash on City streets. It was the consensus of the Council, City Manager Atkin write letters to have trash removed. COUNCIL MEMBER DALTON RESIGNATION: Council Member Dalton presented His resignation as City Council Member effective July 16, 2003. Mr. Dalton is resigning because he and Beverly have built a home outside the corporate boundary. A copy of the resignation is attached hereto as Exhibit The staff Council and Mayor, City thanked Mr. Dalton for His dedication and past service to Beaver City. It was the consensus of the City Council the new Council Member will not be until after me appointed November General Election. RANDY TOLBERT SOLAR SYSTEM PROPOSAL FOR SWIMMING POOL: Mr. Tolbert met with the City Council and presented two proposals, to solar heat the pool. A copy of -- r toil'l ' the proposals are attached hereto. It was me consensus of the Council the proposals be tabled for further study. The City Council made committee reports and discussed the following subjects: 1 Main Street lighting project proceeding with paper work at UDOT. 2. Controlled access to commercial developments. City Manager Atkin to investigate . City rights to control access. 3. Start water conservation plan the first of August. 4. Council Member Williams requested City Manager Atkin appoint a n e mployee t o a ct as when City Manager be absent. Atkin may Manager 5. County wide solid waste removal. MEETING COUNCIL A special Council CHANGE: Meeting will be held on Council regular July29th, will 5th be of held, Meeting Aug Aug 19th Council meeting cancelled. Council Member Draper was excused at 5:45 p.m. Bird Member Council Member Council moved. Erickson 2nd. The City Council move into closed session at 6:15 p.m. to discuss possible litigation. Council Member Bird, Erickson, Dalton and Williams voted in favor. The Council moved out of closed session at 6:45 p.m. No further business presented before the Council the meeting adjourned at 6:45 p.m. City .
