Impromptu: Brian Tucker and Chris Cornell. Extemporaneous: Mickey Morris, John Webster and Drew Alsup. Three novices joined the BHS team this year. On their first meet at region, Drew Alsup, Brian Tucker, and John Webster qualified for state. We had two finalists in state, John Webster in extemporaneous speaking and Stephanie Smith in original oratory. They both received superior ratings in their events.
