She'll be with us for a week and enjoy our family for Thanksgiving. They will have Thanksgiving dinner with the John Messer family and the Marvin Whites. On Friday they will go to Calif, to enjoy the fun spots such as Disneyland, and Knotts Berry Farm. Mr .and Mrs. Waldo (Vi) Yardley left Saturday for Salt Lake where Waldo will undergo major surgery at the Holy Cross Hospital, Monday, Nov. 21. Vi will stay in Layton, Utah with Mr. and Mrs. Don Yardley and family until Waldo is well enough to return home. We wish him a speedy recovery. Case Company. They will get a new electric stove and freezer to go with the many other prizes he has won. Dick Tattersall, son ot Mr. and Mrs. Scott Tattersall, was one of the two Utahns to win $100 for a snapshot entered in the Salt Lake Tribune Snapshot Contest. Dicks entry was a picture of a laughing, freckle faced boy. Dick is a well known photographer and - has won several prizes before. We wish him much success in his work. er TABLE well Hutchins of California stopped for a short visit with Mr. and Mrs. Bill Cox. They had visited in Fillmore, Utah with Mr. Hutchin's nephew. They were enroute to Phoenix for a visit. Mr. Hutchins has spent many years hunting deer in the Beaver area. Mr. and Mrs. Glen (Evelyn) Huhchings left Wednesday for Nevada to spend Fallon, weekend with Thanksgiving their daughter, Marie Keener, and family and Mrs. Bonnie Hutchings and family. Ernest and Leanora Muir left Tuesday for Durango, Colo to spend a week with their sons, Nile and Russell, and their families. Mrs. Donald Baldwin entertained 20 little friends of her son, Morgan, last Tuesday after noon. The occasion was his 7th birthday. The little folks enjoyed playing games and the delicious refreshments served by Mrs. Baldwin. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Beeson and grandson Lynn Cartwright enjoyed ten days in California 's recently. They visited Mr. sister, Mrs. Crissie Christ ian and her family at Long Beach and at Tehachapi they were guests of Mrs. Beeson's brothers, Burnett Hayes and Lloyd Pedigo and their families. They also enjoyed several side trips and the fine weather. A wonderful trip. The town seems kinda quiet this week. I guess everyone is getting ready for the big day on Thursday. White of Beaver, won a seat in the Legislature of the state of Nevada in the November 8 elections Mr. White and his wife, the former Phyllis Paice, live in North Las Vegas with their six children.
