In 1970 she moved to Whittier, CA. with her family, there she also became active in school activities and became President of P.T.A. at the Evergreen School as well as Elementary East Whittier Junior High and Sierra High School where she was honored for her many accomplishments and services. She took pride and interest in her children's activities and was we!! liked by her many friends and students in the area. While loving the outdoors she enjoyed feeding the animals, especially bottle feeding the b3by lambs. She was a wonderful cook and loved to bake pies and cakes. She looked forward to Thanksgiving and Christmas when her family would come to visit for the Holidays. She would always bake banana nut bread for all of them as well as her many friends in Beaver. She also looked forward to the Holidays to celebrate as well as. deer season when friends would stop by to visit. She enjoyed Pioneer Days ever the 24th of July with the many activities in town. She liked to knit and croand scarfs chet booties, ' afghans for her family and friends and to quilt blankets for everyone. She took pride in her baking and won many ribbons for her pies and canned fruits and vegetables at the Beaver County Fair as well as the State ' r " Alva Lister Gale ' Beaver - Alva Lister Gale, 89, joined her eternal companion. LaVar Gaie on November 21, 2007, peacefully at the home of her daughter, in Washington, UT where she had lived for several years. Alva was born May 17, 1918 in Paragonah, Utah to Joseph E.
