Grandparents are Mary God-da- rd of Cedar Qty and Oren Puf- fer The annual Beaver Seminary Graduation Banquet was held at the Second Ward Chapel onMarch 29, 1973. The Seminary graduates and their honoredguests, mostly parents, former Seminary teachers, Stake and Ward officials were present. banquet was given by the Seminary Graduates consisting of turkey, baked potatoes, cranberries and hot rolls; After the banquet a program was presented. The Master of Ceremonies was Lynn Carter. The guest speaker was Floyd Johnson of the BYU Athletic DeA partment. Brother Johnson gave an outstanding talk using the shoes of various athletes. One shoe was the shoe of dedication worn by a wrestler who won 5th place in the NCAA National Tournament. of Milford, Utah. Mr. and Mrs. Dennis (June) March ant of Denver are happy to announce the arrival of a baby boy March 22, 1973. He weighed 7 lbs. 8 ozs. His name will be Brandon Dennis. The third shoe was the shoe of conversion worn by Kreshmir Cosic. Brother Johnson told of his tremendous desire and effort to take the Gospel behind the Iron Curtain to Yugoslavia. Kreshmir had been a hardened communist and atheist prior to his conversion., Now, he is a National hero to his people and wields a tremendous influence among the young. The last shoe was a size 17 basketball shoe worn by the most promising player at BYU. This 7 ft. 1 Inch boy couldnt keep standards and after repeated warnings had to be let go from the team. His abandoned car was found at Battle Mountain, Nevada and to this day no one knows where he Is.
