Fourteen little playmates were present and had a delightful time playing games. A dainty luncheon was served to all by Mrs. McQuarrie assisted by her daughters Ina Marie and Joyce. AGRICULTURAL PROJECTS REPORT OX by Rex Limb, Reporter Each boy that Is taking Vocational Agriculture Is taking some kind of a Project out of a number of choices. Mr. LeRoy F. Watters is in Ag. I and is taking a Jersey Dairy Project. Each student is required to take his project through the kurnmer and complete it next fall. Roy is doing good in his work. FOREST PROJECT Mr. Warren Wilson is taking Ag. I. lie is unable to take a Farm Project so is taking up For estry. This is a .very interesting project. It consists of many dif ferent kinds of trees. He has to identify the different trees, rocks and birds and is going to collect samples of wood, leaves, rocks and learn the call of 10 different birds. JERSEY If EI PER PROJECT Mr. Bill Farnsworth is in Ag. I and is taking a Jersey Heifer for his project. Ho reports a very educational project. LOCAL NEWS Mr. and Mrs. Burke Detmers and daughter Joan, returned to their home in Ely, Nevada. Tuesday, after spending a week with their parents, Mr. Jim Robinson and family and Mrs. Isabel Gillies and son Dick. Harry Hodges returned to Bea ver Saturday, after spending the winter in California, visiting with friends and relatives. Mr. and Mrs. Aubra Morris of Denver, Colorado, were dinner guests Tuesday evening at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Aubra Patterson. Mrs. Annie E. Joseph had as her guests Sunday her children Mrs. Elizabeth Stewart of South Milford and Arthur Joseph of Parowan. Mrs. Emmerett Willden went over to Cedar City tne miaaie ui the week to be operated on for vercose viens. Word was received Monday that she was getting along fine. As soon as she is strong enough she will undergo an operation for the removal of a goiter. Little Miss Judith Prusse returned to her home at Cedar City Sunday after visiting for two weeks with her grand parents Mr. She and Mrs. Ezra Ashworth. was accompanied by her grand mother Mrs. Myrtle Ashworth who will visit with relatives for the next ten days. Mrs. Lottie Lunt of South Gate California arrived at the old home last Wednesday to help her moth er care for her father Alva Thomp EXTERTA1XES 15RIDGE CLUB Mrs. Isabel Gillies entertained her bridge club at her home Saturday night. At 8 P. M. a hot plate two course dinner was served to the twelve members and guests present, after which the tables were cleared and all enjoyed playing bridge. Point prizes was won by, Alta ISoyter, .honors, Marietta Bonn, Consolation by son who is very ill.
