After the game they visited Mrs. Good-j Good-j man's mother, Mrs. Jane Joseph, and Mr. Goodman's mother, Aunt Betsy j 'Goodman, for a short visit. i Mr. and Mrs. Wainwright, of the Beaver Bakery were enthusiastic visi-1 visi-1 tors at the Telluride plant Sunday. : Their first trip up that canyon. The Wainwrights are making many j friends here since becoming citizens of our town. Mrs- Nephi Williams and Mrs. Mary Goodman spent the afternoon ' Monday Mon-day with Mrs. William's granddaughter, granddaugh-ter, Mrs. Wallace Patterson. Sheriff Jensen made a business trip i to Salt Lake last week-end. Mr. Estella Robinson went last week to Logan to take extension work at the Agricultural college. I I Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Baldwin were made very happy over the arrival of ' a fine boy at "their home Wednesday of last week. Mrs. Baldwin has not ' been getting along real well but is now impreving and the baby is doing nieely. ' Miss Alice Atkin whs i teaching ! at Milferd, spent Armistice Day here with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Atkin. ' Zealand Murdock, son of. Mayor and Mrs. R. C. Murdock, is just re-j re-j covering from Scarlet fever. The Wm. Nowers family have received re-ceived word from Mr. Nowers, -in Colorado that he is getting along i.icely but has had some pretty bad days. Miss Virginia Boyle's charming presence in the post office is quite pleasing to her many friends. Miss Alice Atkin came home from i the U. of V. last week to pursue some extra no:k w'mch she is doing at the Miiford High t.hool. Mr. and Mrs. John R. Murdock and sons Wilson and Thompson, Mrs. Emma Mathews, and Edward Mathews and Miss Martha Beaumont were guests of the Robinsons and Miss Franke for dinner Sunday evening at the Rocky Ford dam.
