D. 1917 i - - i State of Utah, County of Beaver, Beaver County School District, ss. Public notice is hereby given, according ac-cording to law. that at the bond election elec-tion hereby called to be held in each school representative precinct of the Beaver County School District of Beaver County, Utah, on Tuesday, to-wit: The 4th day of September. A. D. 1917. between the hours of 2 o'clock p. m. and 8 o'clock p. m., and at the several polling places therein hereinafter named there will be submitted sub-mitted to the duly qualified voters of said school district, the question following for their vote and determination deter-mination thereat, to-wit: "Shall the board of education of Beaver County Sciiool District, of Beaver county, Utah, for the purpose pur-pose of raising money for purchasing purchas-ing school sites, for building one or more school houses, and supplying the same with furniture and necessary neces-sary apparatus be empowered to Issue, Is-sue, negotiate, and sell the school building bonds of said school district dis-trict to an amount aggregating the principal sum of One Hundred Thirty Thousand ($130,000) Dollars, Dol-lars, comprised of 130 bonds, numbered num-bered consecutively from 1 to 130, inclusive, of the denomination of $1,000 each, said bonds all to run for a period of 20 years and to fall due and become payable 20 years after their date, bearing interest from their date until paid at the rate of five (5) per -centum per annum, payable pay-able semi-annually, both principal thereof and interest thereon payable at the National Bank of Commerce in the city and state of TTew York, U. S. A." The vote shall be by ballot, which will contain the question hereinabove submitted, and in addition thereto each voter voting in favor of the bonds shall place a cross (X) in the blank space to the right of the group of words, "Bonds, Yes;" and those voting against the bonds shall place a cross (X) in the blank space to the right of the group of wrds, "Bonds, No;" and thereby indicate in-dicate his vote upon the question submitted. The polls for the reception of the ballots cast upon said question will, on said day and date and at the several sev-eral hereinafter named polling places in each of the school representative repre-sentative precincts of said school district, be opened at the hour of 2 o'clock p. m. and remain open until un-til the hour 'of 8 o'clock p. m. of the same day, when they shall be closed. The polling places for, and the names of the judges who shall there- at conduct the said election in each of the five school representative precincts pre-cincts of said school districts, are as follows, namely; Representative precinct No. 1; County court house. Beaver; judges. Carrie Bakes. Dan Williams, Fred Mackerel! Assembly Hall. Beaver; judges. W. A. Noyes. S. O. White, Sr. Representative Precinct No. 2: Belknap School, Beaver; judges, W. S. Toltou. Frank Harris, Elizabeth Fotheringham. Library Basement Beaver; judges, Jos. R. Murdock. Sr., Arthur Smith, Dennis Farnsworth. Representative Precinct No. 3 : Woods Hall, Minersville; judges, Edna Thompson, Henry Hall, James Rollins. School House, Adamsville; judges. Willard Reese, Kate Joseph, Frank Griffiths. ' Representative Precinct No. 4: Garrett Wilkins, Moscow; judges: Henry Gillins, Viene Evans, Garrett Wilkins. District School Building. Milford; judges: E. Tanner, J. A. Ingols, Mrs. M. J. Armstrong. Representative Precinct No. 5: School House. Greenville; judges, James Rollins, James Morris. D. W. Barton. Sclfool House, Frisco; judges: E. R. Smith, Sarah James, Frank Osborne. Os-borne. School House, North Creek; judges: Rav Baker, Mary Green, Wm. Twitchell, Jr. School House, Reed; judges, Jessie Jes-sie Robinson, J. H. Hatlen, W. S.' Bond. Only the voters possessing the following fol-lowing qualifications will be allow-ew allow-ew to vote at said eection and no others: "Every registered voter residing in any school representative district in which any election is held for the purpose of determining the question of issuing bonds for such school district, dis-trict, and who shall have paid a property tax therein in the year preceding pre-ceding such election, shall be entitled en-titled to vote at any such election. Challenges for cause by any qualified voter shall be allowed at such election and prompty decided by the judges conducting the same." (Compiled . Laws of Utah of 1907, 1891X33.)
