With New' Hampshire, Minnesota, and New Mexico still in doubt, the final result re-sult cannot be definitely decided before be-fore Friday night or Saturday. The News wired the Los Angeles Examiner Ex-aminer last night and received the following telegram: Los Angeles, Calif., 11-9-16. Beaver County News, Milford, Utah. Early tonight Wilson apparently carried California by 2500 which reelects him president with 26 9 electoral votes. Minnesota, New Hampshire - and New Mexico still in doubt. Los Angeles Examiner. 12:13 p. m. Later information indicated that there might be a recount in San Francisco. If Mr. Wilson has carried California, Califor-nia, as claimed, he will have 269 electoral votes, sufficient to elect him, provided other states claimed for him do not "fall down" on completion com-pletion of count. Returns., just received indicate New; Mexico has swung to Wilson so that there seems to oe little doubt of Mr. Wilson's election. However, the national G. O. P. have, according to advices from New York, retained legal help and will contest the election. Contests are already arranged for in California, New Hampshire and Kansas, though the latter state gave Wilson a substantial plurality. The ground on which this contest will be based is that the voters did not vote for individual electors as provided for in the constitution, but directly for the candidates for president presi-dent and vice president. Apparently Minnesota has gone for Hughes but it may be conserva-tavely conserva-tavely stated that President Wilson has been re-elected. What future contests may decide is another question. ques-tion.
