Palm, whose poatofflee address is Provo, Utah, ha made application in accordance with the requirement of the Compiled Law of Utah, 1907, a amended by the Session Laws of Utah, 1909, to appropriate twenty-fiv- e hundredth (.26) of a cubio-foper second of water from two springs in Beaver county, Utah. Spring No. 1 is situated at a point which bear south 42 degree 68 min. east 6,668 feet from United State Mineral Monument No. 1, Beaver Lake Mining District, Beavercounty, Utah. Spring No. 2 lie 40 feet south of Spring No. 1 above described. The water will be diverted at the place where it issues from said springs and conveyed by mean of a pipe line for a distance of 6,200 feet aud there used during the period from January 1 to December 31, inclusive, of each year, for the concentration of copper, silver and gold ores at the Beaver Lake Consolidated Mine in Beaver Lake Mining district, Utah. Aa much of said water aa may be necessary will be used during the entire year for the domestic purposes of the employees of said mine and mill. This application ia designated in the State Engineers office as No. 2690. All protests against the granting of said application, stating the reasons therefor, must be made by affidavit in duplicate and filed in this offioe within thirty (30) days after the completion of the publication of thla notice.
