Recent visitors at the home of Leonore Finch were Helen and Marce Gressman of Saugus, California. They all spent three days in Goshen, Utah visiting family. Bill and Wendy Easton have moved Into their new home in Enoch. Bill is employed with Irby Construction. John and Bonnie Easton had their daughters, Sabrina and Katie, home for a short visit. They also enjoyed a short visit with their son, Richard and his wife, Kathi. Ken and Sonie Munk had daughters Deanna and Denise and her husband Daryl home for the weekend. Of course, Grandma Munk visited with all. Dennis and Bonnie Hardy made a to attend the of their Jeff Hardy nephew, wedding and Kathy Hysell. While there they trip to Pocatello, Idaho spent a night with Lynn and Karen (Goodwin) Brower. On their return trip they stopped in Salt Lake City to visit Rod and Judy (Raines) Ward and new baby boy. Irene Stewart, and John and Betty Jiminez spent the weekend in Reno visiting with their sons, Larry and Rolert and their families. Lacy Jiminez, daughter of Jerry and Kathy Jiminez, celebrated her sixth birthday Thursday with a birthday party at the park. The Milford Volunteer Fire Department held their regular meeting last Tuesday nijjht. Election of officers was held. New officers are: Norman Davis, President; Kenny Chuck Vietch, Johnson, Secretary; Wayne Training and Safety officer; Les Whitney and Curtis Baxter, Captains. Nolan and Iva Davis and family spent three days camping at Lehman Creek. They met friends from Ely. Lee and Shellie Singleton spent the Labor Day weekend in Caliente, where they celebrated Calientes Homecoming weekend. Clyde and Marion Turner and daughter Amiee from Las Vegas came to Milford Friday night. Then on Saturday morning they went up to the Beaver Mountains to spend three days with Bob and Pat Davis in their trailer up there. Mabel Turner, Alva and Jerri Kirk, Ted and Brenda Seifers, and Norman and Madeline Davis went up on Sunday and enjoyed having dinner with everyone. Herb and Betty Coon also spent the weekend in the Beaver Mountains. They met Herb's brother, Blair and all of his family at Puf pay off in beauty to be enjoyed by the Whittakers their friends and neighbors. Mr. and Mrs. Hal Norton have their daughter Jean and husDouglas Wright from Napa, had band California here for a visit. They went to Grind Canyon and went on a boat trip at Lake Powell. John and Vicki Carter and family went to the football game Friday night at Lincoln, then went to Caliente and spent the night with their cousins, Tqm and Peggy Rowe and family. Rose Marie and Buddy Cassell returned from a visit to Rose Marie's mother, RoseMary Davey (formerly of Milford) in Farmington New Mexico. Upon their return, mother from Salt Lake back home. Amber Amber brought had been visiting with her grandmother. Then Rose Maries sister Jlna and Leila Plpher (formerly of Milford) came for a short visit. Denny Belliston and his daughter were here visiting Dennys parents Mr. and Mrs. Ray Belliston. Also visiting them were a sister, Mr. and Mrs. Forest Miller from Delta a niece and nephew, Mr. and Mrs. Don Payne. Marg Mecham has been to Salt Lake to visit with her son Wain and wife Patty Mecham. While there she did some shopping and enjoyed her grandson, Travis birthday. Visiting with Mel and Sheila Pro-d- z Inski this weekend were their son Tony and his kids from Salt Lake. They enjoyed the weekend fishing and bow hunting in the Beaver Moun- Bretts tains. Mr. and Mrs. Carl Briscoe enjoyed a visit from their daughter Nina Endicott and son Hayden from Borger, Texas. Brad and Shirley Whittaker and family from Kanab; Judy Bailey and family from Santa Clara; Gary and Deb Whittaker and family from Cedar City, and Mark and Karen Nelson of Milford all met at Larry and Adrianne Whittakers for a fun day of games and a delicious barbeque. Mark and Christine Whitney are the proud parents of their third child and first girl. The little lass was born on Saturday, September 1, 1984 in the Milford Valley Memorial Hospital. She will be greeted at home by two brothers, Lance and Kyle. Bob and Linda Merryweather are the proud parents of a baby girl, bom last week at the Milford Valley Memorial Hospital. The little girl weighed 6 lbs. 14 34 oz. and will be welcomed home by several brothers and sisters. Rod and Judy (Raines) Ward are the proud parents of a baby boy. He was born August 21, 1984 in He weighed in at 9 Oklahoma. lbs. 1 oz. and will be named Brandon James Ward. JESSIE WILLIAMS WINS COUNTY NEWS PRIZE Winner of the small appliance to the Beaver subscribing COUNTY NEWS during the Milford Business Association Labor Day Sidewalk Bonanza last Saturday was Jessie Williams. She won an electric can opener -- knife sharpener. The Sidewalk Bonanza was a spewhich the Business cial event, Association plans to make an annual event. An excellent crowd kept most booths busy into the afternoon. Besides being an event for local businesses, it provided an occasion for numerous local organizations to have a fund raiser.
