To HONORED COUPLE: add to the occasion, Vvs and all the children and grandchildren honored Harold with a party on Friday in honor of his 80th birthday Sept. 1. pose Baxters celebrate birthday, 55th wedding anniversary For the Harold Baxter family the Labor Day weekend was a very special occasion. And thirty-fiv- e members of the family gathered together to celebrate, along with Harolds brothers and families from Milford and neighbors and friends. Friday, August 31 they gathered together for a birthday party for Harold who turned 80 on Saturday, September 1st. Then on Saturday, the thirty -- five Immediate members of the family enjoyed dinner at The Station Restaurant in honor of the Baxter's 55th wedding anniversary, which was on Monday. Those attending were: Charles and Ruth Baxter from Dutch John and their children, Stanley and Mary Strebel and three children, Ian, Ellas COUNTY We really havent been on vacation all summer, just busy. Little Stephanie Jones was born on Sunday, August 19 to Gary and Tammy Jones in the Valley View Medical Center In Cedar. She weighed almost 8 pounds and is doing well. Larry and family live in Salt Lake City. Gary D. and Sandy Orton and three children spent the Labor Day weekend with Rula Orton. The Ortons were involved in a Decker family reunion over the holiday. Tom and September obituary C LARA SCHEIDEMAN 67, a former Lodi resident, died Tuesday afternoon In a Stockton hospital after becoming ill while traveling in Europe. She was born and raised in Manfred, H.D., and moved to Lodi at a young age. She graduated from Lodi Academy in 1937 and attended Stock -ton Junior College for two years. She received nursing training at San Joaquin General Hospital, graduating in 1941. Clara Marie Scheideman, She was married to Lee L.Schei-dema- n in Lodi in March of 1941. She traveled with her husband during his service with the armed forces, returning to Lodi for five years before moving to Michigan, where they resided for 12 years. The couple then moved to Milford, Utah, and resided there 18 years. Mrs. Scheideman worked at the Beaver Valley Hospital in Beaver, Utah, until her retirement in 1980. A member of the Redding Seventh-Da- y Adventist Church, she enjoyed playing the organ and needlework. In addition to her husband, Mrs. Scheideman is survived by her daughter, Claire Lee Lear of Lodi; her son. Dr. Louis C. Scheideman of Washington; two brothers, Russell Mayer and Jim Mayer, both of Milford, Utah; a sister, Fern Fin of Riverdale, Utah; her mother Mary K. Jesse of Utah; and four grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her father, August Mayer, and a brother, George Mayer. Funeral services will be held on Friday at 2:00 p.m. in the Lodi Funeral Home chapel with Elder Helmuth Retzer and Flder Lonnie Leibelt officiating. Ernie and Dorlnda Crocker of Whiteriver, Arizona have been visiting with Milton and Reva Albrecht. Mr. Crocker is the Branch President of the LDS Church In White -river. The Albrechts had a family dinner and really enjoyed listening to President Crocker play his harmonica. Kathie and Don Stoddard from Salt Lake visited her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Gllllns over the three day holiday.
