The negotiated bid price of the new EMT building is The Community Im$71,034.00. pact Board grant obtained Is $63,000.00, leaving a building deficit for the new EMT ambulance building. The EMT's requested that Beaver City donate an additional $2,000 towards the new building. A fly discussion, it was the decision of the Council that Beaver City will support the EMT organization with the building of the ambulance building with an additional $2,M0. This is an additional $3,600 more than the original $ltO0 for a total of $4,000 to the EMT organization. In other business, the Council reviewed at length the proposed October 3, lttD pressurized Irrigation questionnaire and a proposed letter to the citizens regarding Beaver City's proposed pressurized Irrigation system. A proposed timetable lor completing the pressurised Irrigation system was reviewed with no decision being reached regarding the time for installation. Rex Carter, City Zoning Administrator, Building Inspector, Ron Roberts, Chairman, Planning Commission met with the Council to discuss Beaver City's present Zoning Ordinance as it pertains to animals. Mr. Roberts requested the Council's opinion on the After ordinances. existing discussion, it was the consemus of the Council the question will be placed on the questionnaire In conjunction with the Occtober S Primary Election. Craig Davis, County Zoning Administrator and Robert Strong, County Planning Commission member, met with the Council and presented a draft of the amendment to the proposed changing of the County Zoning Ordinance. Several scenarios were dlscused regarding building within the Buffer Zone. After review of the proposed amendments, It was the consensus of tfte Council the proposed changes be tabled for further study. After reviewing the proposed City County Library Agreement, the Council authorized Mayor Lee and Recorder Leesing to sign the Library Agreement. Also at Tuesday's meeting, the Council reviewed a letter from Beaver Fire District No. 1 Fire Chief regarding Beaver City's above ground storage tanks at the Cemetery maintenance facility. After review of Beaver City's fueling Installations, the Council agreed that Beaver City shall start to move the tanks from the Cemetery installation to 600 North. WW. the tanks behind City Hall have lost their usefulness, they shall be removed according to code. It was the consensus of the Council that the Craft Fair License fee of $10 Is for locally made items only. If other Items are sold at the Fair, the standard $80 business license fee applies. The Council agreed that when the City Recorder and City Treasurer renew their bonds, they shall be renewed at $125,000 rather than the previous $100,000. This Increase Is necessitated by 6 percent of Beaver City's budget. The Council approved the following as Election Judges: District l: Janet Leasing, Gams Mclnetly, Tanya White, and alternate Edla Terry; District 2: Deana Barton, Defers Thomas. Jesse Roberto, and alternate Sytil Smith. Roberta Stoker and Gloria Murdock met with the City Council and reouested use of the Opera House Civic Center on a monthly basis for musical recitals. The recitals are open to the public and no charge Is made to the patrons or Die music teachers. The Council agreed that the monthly use of the Opera House Civic Center will be allowed at no fee. Regular dean --up procedures will apply. It was the consensus of the Council that Beaver City advertise on January 4, 1900 for the 'leasing of Beaver City's underground water rteht, wntch Is presently surplus to Beaver City's current pumping capacity.
