Card of TEicnks Mark and Debbie Corhridge would like to thank everyone that went to their Open House Saturday September 9th. A speial thanks to all that helped in anyway to make their wedding the success It was. Mark k Debbie Corhridge Merlin 4 Bert Merryweather On Saturday, September 2nd, sale Just before the side-wal- k opened Mllford's Labor Day Festivities, Larry Carter was horridly pulling weeds from the vacant service station lot and the parking area for the old Jefferson building. He had a whole pick-u- p truck load and a big smile on his face as his pride In his community showed through the sweat. Main Street is, in some areas, looking shabby due to weeds that have been permitted to grow until they are as big as small shrubs. Just a little over a year ago, the Boy Scouts, the Sororities, the Veteran's Lions, and other organizations busted themselves and made Mllford smile with pride as they weeded the parks, cemetery, athletic field, grandstand area and Miiford Main Street. On one day, under the leadership of Jack Kirk and organization heads, a miracle of transformed our community! Can or will It happen again? God makes things grow - Including weeds - so that we can have a part in making our lives better and the world a picture of our Weeds, like bad habits, affect the impression others form as they see us for the first time. We have only one chance to create a good "first Impression". "Catch the Spirit" self-estee- SB ;; ji American Hearty Associations 1 |
