Show ABSENTEE BALLOTS AVAILABLE Ballots are now available avail-able at the Milford City Office for the $255,000 municipal mu-nicipal bond election April 29th. Persons who will be out of town on the regular polling day, or otherwise 1 cannot get to the polls, can vote an absentee ballot in the city office before that date, or have one delivered , to you by mall, so that you (Continued on Page 2) HERE'S MORE ABOUT BALLOTS can cast your ballot, and return it. The ballot contains two proposals, Proposition 1 is for $193,000 to be used, as matching monies for an Industrial park. Total cost of the project is estimated to be $783,000 with applications appli-cations for matching grants being made to the Four Corners Regional Com -mission and the Department Depart-ment of Economic Develop -mentAdmlri'.stratlon.Plan-nlng has Been underway for approximately two years on the project. Propostion No. 2 is for ' $60,000 to supplement the $110,000 municipal bonds authorized for water im -provment several years ago. It will be used to complete the final phase of the water system, with a new well, and a 1.9 million mil-lion gallon water storage tank, on Baldy Hill. A sample ballot Is printed print-ed elsewhere in this Issue. Polling place will be in the basement of the Methodist Church. Polls will be open from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Plan to vote! |
