Show MOTHER OF MRS. TAIT DIES IN ST. GEORGE Mrs. Dartha Luella Barney Leavitt, 63, of Gunlock, mother of Mrs. Melvin Tait, died Dec. 3 in a St. George hospital of a heart ailment. She was born Nov. 14, 1901, in Circleville, to Joseph and Lucy Etta Higgins Barney. She married Samuel Vernon Leavitt Leav-itt March 27, 1917, in the St. George Temple. Surviving are her husband; sons and daugters Vernon Ar-vel, Ar-vel, Mrs. Glen (Rose) McAllister McAl-lister and Verle, all of Gun-lock; Gun-lock; Rex Alma, Spokane, Wash.; Mrs. Jack (Belle) Re-ber, Re-ber, Ivins; Mrs. Linford (Es-tella) (Es-tella) Bracken and Paul, both of Las Vegas; Mrs. Melvin (Verda) Tait, Milford; Mrs. Ned (Jerry) Sullivan, Leeds; 44 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. |
