Show Services Held for Margaret Rogers Funeral services were conducted con-ducted in the Milford Chapel Thursday, January 18, for Mrs. Margaret Hickman Rogers, 78, who died Saturday in Los Angeles An-geles of natural causes. The services were as follows: Prelude and postlude music, by Sister Edna Nichols; Invocation, Invoca-tion, by J. C. Smith; vocal trio, - ? ' 1 - 1 , S. : : ' ' 'i Mrs. Margaret Rogers Gerry Kirk, Jo Killiam, Bonnie Easton sang "Prayer Perfect", accompanied by Letha Smith; Obituary, S. W. Nichols; Song, "In The Garden," by Vivian Rollins, accompanied by Evelyn Mayer; Talk by Bishop O. C. Edwards, of Milford 1st Ward; Song, "Going Home", by Marjorie Mar-jorie Sherwood, accompanied by Helen Gillins; Benediction, by Rudolph Nielson. The prayer at the home was given by George A. Horton, a grandson, the grave dedication was by Dick Horton, also a grandson. The pallbearers were: Ennis Rogers, Billy Joe Rogers, Royal J. Rogers, LeLand Rogers, Rog-ers, sons of the deceased, and Earl Horton and George Horton, Hor-ton, grandsons. The flowers were cared for by the Milford First Ward Relief Re-lief Society. Lunch for the family was served at the home after the services. The family wishes to thank the people of Milford for attendance, at-tendance, the floral offerings and' especially those who took part during the services. Mrs. Margaret Hickman Rogers, Ro-gers, 73, former Milford resident, resi-dent, died Saturday in Los Angeles of natural causes. Born Feb. 15, 1888, Milford, to Joseph Jo-seph Smith and Margaret Kirk Hickman. Married to Royal M. Rogers, May 16, 1906, Milford, later solemnized St. George Temple, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He died in 1961. Survivors: sons, daughters, Sheridan M., Milford; Ennis D., Fresno, Calif.; Leland B., Tuc- -son, Ariz.; Royal J., Roy; Mrs. G. A. (Macel) Horton, Beaver; Mrs. Chester (Thelma) Ingram, Los Angeles; Mrs. Ferris F. (Zola) Sweat, Fruitland, Wu-(Zola) Wu-(Zola) Sweat, Fruitland, Duchesne Du-chesne County; 28 grandchild- |
