Show MR. AND MRS. MORG GRIFFITHS PLAN 50th ANNIVERSARY Mr. and Mrs. Morgan Griffiths Grif-fiths will be honored at an open house from 4 to 7 p. m. Saturday, Jan. 11, at their home in Milford, in observance of their Golden Wedding Anniversary. An-niversary. They request no gifts. Mr. Griffiths was born May 4, 1898, in Greenville, to Joseph Hyrum and Lucy Richards Griffiths. Mrs. Griffiths was born Sept. 22, 1897, in Adams-villo, Adams-villo, to Ab and Catherine Jones Heslington. They were married Jan. 6, 1914, in Beaver. After their marriage they moved to Milford Mil-ford where Mr. Griffiths was employed by T. W. Sloan & Co. until he purchased a farm in South Milford in 1931. He still operates the farm. Mr. Griffiths has been a member of the Beaver County Soil Conservation Committee for 20 years and of the local Soil Conservation District for 15 years, the last three years as secretary. He is secretary and a Past Noble Grand of Milford Mil-ford Lodge No. 42, I.O.O.F. Mrs. Griffiths has been secretary secre-tary of the Milford First Ward Relief Society for 14 years. She is a 40-year member and Past Noble Grand of Victory Re-bekah Re-bekah Lodge No. 42. They have five children: Clyde Griffiths, Milford; Mont Griffiths, Martinez, Calif.; Mrs. Alice Miller, Kearns; LeRoy Griffiths, Murray, and Bill Griffiths, Ogden. They also have 14 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. |
