HELEN JEAN GILLINS, RONALD SIMPKINS MARRIED FRIDAY Miss Helen Jean Gillins and Ronald Simpkins spoke nuptia! vows Friday, March 22, in th i LDS Relief Society room. Jesse E. Long officiated. An open house followed the ceremony. Mrs. Gerald Gillins of Lac-Vegas, Lac-Vegas, sister in law of the bride, was matron of honor .and Miss Sharon Thorns of Orem, a cousin, was the bridesmaid. brides-maid. Dennis Simpkins, brother broth-er of the groom, acted as best man. Ronald is a son of Mr. and Mrs. M. D. Simpkins. The beautiful bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Ger-ald Gillins. She chose a floor-length floor-length gown of delustered sath' accented with a spray of sequir flowers on the front of the skirt. The skirt was flared by a hooped underskirt. The neckline neck-line was enhanced by pearl beads. She carried white flowers flow-ers among red rosebuds. Her fingertpi veil of sheerest illusion illu-sion was secured to a crown of a wreath of leaves made of the same sheer illusion. i The matron of honor and bridesmaid were gowned in beige afternoon dresses and carried nosegays. The couple enjoyed a brief wedding trip, and will make their home in Cedar City where Mr. Simpkins is attending attend-ing the C S U. Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Simpkins Out of town relatives attending attend-ing the ceremony and open house included Mrs. Euzell Thomas of Beaver, grandmother of the bride; Mr. and Mrs. El-don El-don Thomas of Orem, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Medley of McGill Nev.; Mr. and Mrs. Eldon Gillins Gil-lins of Pioche, Nev.; Mrs. Hazel Eyre, Mrs. Altheda Gale, Mr. , and Mrs. Carl Boyter, Mrs, Beth Puffer, all ' of Beaver; Jimmie Gillins and Mary El-hker, El-hker, B Y U students of 1 Provo ; Bobbie Gillins and Carolyn Car-olyn Wade, Sallie Lee Williams, Wil-liams, and Russell McGinn, stu- dents at the C S U in Cedar City; Mr. and Mrs. Ray Simpkins Simp-kins and Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Simpkins of Parowan; and Stan Woods of Las Vegas. |
