Relating to Licenses, Prohibiting the Sale of Goods by Sample and Taking Orders Without First Obtaining a License So to Do. BE IT ORDAINED BV THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF MILFORD, UTAH: Section 1. Chapter Amended. Chapter XIII, Revised Ordinances of the Town of Milford, Utah, 1924, as amended by Ordinance No. 3 Section 140x, of the Ordinances of the Town of Milford, Utah, relating to Licenses, be and the same is hereby amended to read as folIt shall be unlawful for any person carrying on the business of selling at retail or wholesale any goods, chattels, wares, produce or merchandise of any kind whatsoever, by sample or order, for himself or any other person, firm or corporation, without first obtaining a license so to do, and payiif'.o the town ing therefor treasury the annual license of $75.00, but for the selling as aforesaid by sample or order, a license may be issued upon the payment of $5.00 per day, if the applicant desires a license for a less period than three months; provided, that this ordinance shall not apply to traveling agents who sell exclusively by sample or otherwise to Regular merchants doing business in this town: and provided further, that this on dinance shall not apply to those engaged in interstate commerce. Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force upon the tenth day after its publication.
