Show fftTT MHS PASSES 50TH MILESTONE This year MHS has taken a special significance,, as it is our 50th anniversary. If one looks back 50 years, they would observe students crowded in an extra elementary school room. Although the Beaver County High School was established in 1914, the building was not quite finished following year of 1915. until the nessed the signing of the Armistice with Germany, which ended World War L In December of that year, school was discontinued so that the high school building could be used as an emergency hospital for the Flu epidemic. This was the second graduating class of Mrs. Cuma Goodwin MHS. was student body and was in the graduating class of 1920. Almost a half century has passed since the days of Mr. Bond and Mrs. Goodwin to the 55 graduating members of the class of '65. Today students still go to school in the "ole" brick building, but with many new improvements. ILEENE CRANE plans to get married and then live in Salt Lake City, where she will attend Hollywood Beauty Cold, lege. JAN FISHER is going to work this summer and then attend Salt Lake Trade Tech. HELEN FINCH doesn't hav.-andefinite plans for the summer, but plans to attend CSU next fall. STAN HOLLINGSHEAD is going to work this summer and go to Dixie College for two years, then attend BYU. LENNA GALLOWAY will work this summer, then go to BYU next fall. TERRY HARTON will work at Zion Park, then go to LDS Business College. SHANNA GILLIAM will work until July, as she plans to mary on July 10. She will work after her marriage. CHAD JOHNSON will have as much fun as possible this summer, before enrolling at Utah State. JOYCE GRIMSHAW plans to look into dental schools in Los Angeles, then find work. COY JONES will work at Jefferson's this summer, then attend Utah State University. LOFT HOUSE TERRY will work his summer, go to CSU for one year, then go on a mission. LESLIE MARSHALL plans to work this summer, then get married. JAY LONG wants to work this summer and earn lots of money, then go to California Next fall he plans to study for a degree in technical electronics at CSU. MARILYN MAYER joring in elementary education. MIKE WISNER plans to work through the winter, then go to school in Oklahoma next spring; after which he hopes to do some commercial flying. SHIRLEY YEE plans to work this summer, then go to college in Los Angeles BRAD WHITTAKER will work all summer and go to college, hoping to become a rich electronics engineer with enough money to have a guitar in every room of his house. THEA KAY YOUNG plans to work this summer and go to Snow College next winter. DAVID YEE after graduation plans to vacation in Chinatown in Los Angeles, visit his cousins, then return to help his c'.ad at the Hong Kong. Next fall he will attend school in California. JOYCE YOUNT plans to work, all summer, except for a thort vacation in California. In the fall she will attend Westminster College, majoring in English Literature. Judy (Miller) Mayer enrolled at the beginning of the year to complete her education. She has also attended several classes in the adult education program in the last two years. HIPA NERIA will go to Portland to work, either for a well drilling company or surr veying. He will start a mission in the fall, then attend the Church College of Hawaii. LAURA SHERWOOD would like to find work this summer, and plans to major in computer technology this fall at BYU. SHIRL NICHOLS wants to work this summer and spend a lot of time with Gerry; attend CSU next fall and go on a mission when he is 19.
