She married Jasper Bonelli Puffer September 20, 1916 in Beaver. The marriage was solemnized in the St. George LDS Temple July 6, 1963. She was active member of the LDS Church and held many, positions. Survivors include three sons and four daughters, Mrs. Maxine Christensen and Mrs. Woodrow (Nettie) Griffiths, both of Beaver; Mrs. LcRayne Myers and Mrs. Ernest (Shirley) Myers, both of Minersville; Byron of Longmont, Colorado; Robert of Miiford; Cullen of Fredonia, Arizona. She is also survived by 35 grandchildren, B8 and 40 She was preceeded in death by her husband, daughter Dora Lisa and three grandchildren. Jessie McDowell MILFORD - Jessie Mae McDowell, 75, died December 28, 1989, at the Dixie Medical Center. She was born July 28, 1914, in Providence, Kentucky, to Eldred Glover and Nonle Curneal Walker. She married Ernest R. McDowell November 30, 1931, in Providence, Kentucky. He died October 20, 1971. She was a member of the LDS Church. She is survived by a daughter and a son, Mrs. LaMar (Sue) Morris of Miiford; and Don of Los Angeles, California; nine grandchildren, and a brother Marlon Walker of Kanab, Utah. Santa come in on the fire truck, there were several floats including, the A'inersviue School band. It was a t hrill to see 41 band members on a big truck on a big truck furnished by Craw in our Company Trucking Christmas parade. A special thanks to Janice Fails and Sustn Craw for all their efforts and time they have spent to make this band a success. Also otir Sheriff Department, had a float with a Christmas tree and then followed by big Elk horns on top of a sta tion wagon then all of the school kids dressed up in their costums from the Cltristmns program. It was a big day for everyone, then they stopped at the school and had a drawing from all the business places, Bill's Chevron gave Ice Cream to Micteil Barton, Lee Tendant, Linda & Skip Thompson,' and Vern & KLorence Wood won the Ginger Bread House; D&S Station gave a big Mickey Mouse won by Rodney Carter; Gas Certificate was won by SHorty Eyre, Trina Marshall, Chad Chadljurn and Kathryn Evans; then at Todd's Market Jetta Davies won 1st place with $!V0.00 worth of free groceries, Geniel Dalton 2nd place with one month free Movie Pass. Lynley and Cole Thiort from Oregon spent Chrisbnas with her parents Billie and Geniel Dalton and Barry parents Neil and Jane Grevsman. Eleanor and. Ross Marshall drove to Salt Lake a couple of days before Christmas and spent the day with their son Ron and Debbis Marshall and son. The evening was spent by showing video tapes of families that was taken years ago. Everyone had a good time. Reva & Milton Albrecht was honored on their 50th Anniversary with a dance and program. Many old friends, and family members helped to make this a happy occasion. Frank Carter a life long resident of Minersville passed away last Monday in the Miiford Hospital. Funeral services were held Friday December 29th. Survirors-ChildreArlan B. (Bud) of Cedar City; Robert L. (Bob of Miiford; LaVerc of Evanston, Wyoming; Kent of Minersville and Mrs. Verl (Bonnie) Holdaway of West Valley City. He had 23 grandchildren, 56 and 4 great- - S arc- toe 7 Brothers & sisters: Sheral, Mrs. Lester (Leona) Roberts, Nettle Myers and twin brother Rex of Beaver; Max of Minersville; Lois Pearson of Cedar City; Addle Smith of Bountiful and Bertha Cusick of California. His sister Leona was unable to attend the funeral because of her sickness. He was preceded in death by his wife, Drucella Bradfield and four of his grandchildren.
