On Friday the 27th they had sons, Harold and Wayne and Lucille and family and daughter Beverlee and Keith and family of Mllford to a lovely dinner. On Saturday sons Doug and his ton and Sheldon and his son came to spend a few days. Rex and Nina Marshall had a nice visit Saturday with Rex's sister, EVt and Russ Guyroan of St. George, brother, Darwin and Vie Marshall and sister -- In -- law, Theo Marsha!) all of Miners vllle. They also visited with nelce Chris Marshall. Phyllis Keetch gave a lovely dinner party Sunday. In attendance were Lee and A fton Petty, Dorothy and Dave Morris, Verge and Clark Goodwin and Ina and Hal Norton. Spending Friday night with Lenore Finch were her daughters, Bonnie and Blair Herbert of Goshen and Helen Gressman and children Jed Ogden 387-28- 81 J The Lion's New Yews Ew Party was held at the home of David and MaeDean Kirk, many were In attendance and good food and drink were enjoyed by all. The Old Timers luncheon Thursday, January 2, was given by the officers, Pres. Robin McKnlght, Vice Pres. Betty Coon, Sec. and Tres. Patsy Johnson, Chairman of the Board Ramona Smith, Board Members; Mary Schaldt, Pat Davis, lola Banks, Faye Ann Banks and Buelah Wunderllch. A lovely lunch was served and afterwards cards were played. Dale and Tamer Jones and Daren and Tammy made a holiday visit to daughter Cheryl and Garland Tait and kids. Cheryl and Garland and kids then traveled to St. George to visit with Garland's mother, Verda and Darryl Spendlove. John and Irene Stewart had Betty Jim Inez and their family all Year's for New dinner, and knowing Irene you can bet It was delicious. Lola and Gall Banks had a wonderful holiday visit with all their family, Glna and Doug Apple fate of Welser, Idaho, Sue Ann and Tom McCarthy and children of Tooele, Ut., Gary and Diane Banks and kids of Salt Lake City, and Shauna ud Allen Mayer and girls of Mllford. Lola and Gall then spent a few days In St. George resting In the sun. Jo and Cecil KUlam spent a lovely with Doug and JoAnn weekend Kllliam and family from North Salt Lake. Then Jo and Cecil went to Salt Lake City and spent New Year's visiting with their other children Cathy and Con Hlntze and family and John and Margaret Klllam and family. Jo also spent three days In Orem with two niece's Sharon Fowler and Tammy Brown. Norma and Wllmer A agar d had a busy holiday visiting two days In Delta, Ut. with Jenlel and Ron Meyers and family and then three days In the Salt Lake area with Roger and Jan Aagard and son, Norm, Brent Aagard and family, grandchildren, Cindy and Scott Jensen and family, and Ryan and Jeannie Aagard and .family. They also visited Norma's sister Veneta and Lamar Madson and W timer's brother Lloyd and Erma Aagard. Isabelle Cox and daughter, Veda spent Christmas with James and Diane Cox and children Greg, Brian and Laurel In Sandy, Ut. They then traveled to Logan, Ut. to attend the funeral of Isabelle's brother Wallace Glen Kir km an a prominent pharmacist. David and Whitney Barnes and boys of Caliente, Nevada were here for two days visiting with his parents Jetta and LuDean Barnes and her parents Barbara and Eddie Patterson and family. Robert and Delores Rose of Salt Lake City spent New Year's with his parents Ada and Harry Rose and vlsltln with his brother Ronnie and Sally Rose and family. Barbara and John Cazahous of Farmlngton, Ut. spent a few days with her mother Kathleen Jones. Kathleen and son Tom and friends Walker Phelps of Mllford and his sisters Mike and LeAnn of Helper, Callle and Scott Petty and Nedra Jefferson and Keith Kennedy all spent ringing In the New Year in Mesqutte, Nevada. Kathleen had surgery Tuesday In the Salt Lake LDS hospital, we all wish her welL Clark and Verge Goodwin visited their children In Salt Lake for Christmas and then went with from friends St. George to Pasadena, California to see the Rose Parade. Marge Mecham spent Christmas with her son Wain and Pattl Mecham and children, Travis, Dane He and Micheal In Salt Lake City and then a few days with her mother in New Harmony. She returned home New Year's Eve. Bobbie James and son's Tom and Dan and his family, also Usher and Helen Wilcox Journeyed to Provo to see the Ramses n exhibit which they all enjoyed very much. Blllie and Glenn Osborne drove to Sprlngvllle December 23rd to attend a funeral for a 40 year old nephew, Larry Fuller who picked up a hitch hiker and was killed for his good deed. He left a wife and five children. Frank and Barbara Jones were also there and'they all had a nice visit. Blllie and Glenn spent Christmas with Shauna and Dave Sum m ers and four children of Orem , Darryl Jones of Salt Lake City met them there for a visit. Bobble James and Blllie Osborne drove to Beaver, picked up sister Viola Yardley and then drove to St. George to visit with their brother LeRoy Stewart and his wife Elva, the weather was very nice. Enjoying New Year's dinner with Bobbie James and son Tom were her sister Viola Yardley of Beaver, and her daughter Ila Williamson of Paragonah and Blllie and Glenn Osborne of Mllford. lacy Reese spent Christmas with sou's Larry and Lorna and family and cliff and Mary and family of Cedar City. While in Cedar she attended a few of the tournaments at the Centrum. Alice and Don Elmer have had a busy holiday starting with Thanksgiving which they spent in Elizabeth City, North Carolina visiting with their son Ken and Cheryl and family. Over Christmas holidays Rene Wedding Bells Phil Slsneros and Nancy Slsneros are happy to announce the forthson of coming marrlas of their daughter, Kathleen to Lee Boyter, Mr. and Mrs. Carl Boyter of Mllford, Utah. The couple will be married Saturday, January 11, 1986 in Beaver, Utah at the Senior Citizens Center. The wedding ceremony will be at 6:00 pjn. A reception and dance will be held at 8:00 p.m. and music will be played by Dave and Marlon Robinson. Friends and family are invited to attend. The Bride was born and raised in Henderson, Nevada. She later moved to Miners vllle and attended Beaver High School. The Groom graduated from Mllford High School. He is now employed as an engineer on the Union Pacific Railroad. URIE WILL BE AT THE FIRE STATION ON January Marge Gray and mother Lenore Finch and Cynthia Marshall of Ml -nersvllle traveled to Las Vegas Saturday afternoon to pick up Marge's daughter Shelley who spent the holidays In Houston, Texas with her father and his family. Brad and Linda Lamb of St. George and two daughters, Jenny and Laura visited their old neighborhood during the holidays, they called on Max and lona Baxter, and the Willie and Kathy Acklln family. They were on their way home from Delta where they spent Christmas with Linda's folks. Jeanette Kohler has Just returned from Salt Lake City where she has spent the past four months with her daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Jim Mash. While in Salt Lake City she had surgery on her legs and was also hospitalized for an Illness. Her son Ned and family from Poway, California was also visiting Mr. and Mrs. Jim Mash. Jeanette recleved word from her son, Ned, that he has been promoted Vice President of the ' Great American Savings Bank. This past weekend Jeanette's daughter, Madeline drove her back to Mllford. She returned to her home in Salt Lake City on Monday. Vvs Baxter, Bonnie Mclntyre, Judy Daly and Jennifer Daly spent last Sunday with Vvs' brother and wife, Jack and Gall Fotherlngham In Sprlngdale. On Decgmbjer 21, Craig and Ruth Baxter and children, Tylery Adam, Lindsay, Bryce, and Troy spent the day with Mrs. Harold Baxter and . family. Jennifer Daly has spent the holidays with Judy Daly and family. She is attending Weber State College. Billy and Yollle Fotherlngham from Salt Lake City spent the afternoon with Vvs Baxter and family. Duard and Arthella Evans spent the holidays with their sons Gerald and Dorothy Evans 'and family of Layton and Boyd and Florence Evans of Pleasant Grove. They report that they had a very enjoyable Christmas. Smith traveled to St. George to visit her new grandson, born to Brad and Louise Smith on Christmas Day at Dixie Medical Center. To permit time for processing and confirmation by mail, reservation applications should be received at the park at least 10 days before the requested reservation date.
